I found a huge photobase on flickr of a british woman Cynthia Hilsden. There’s thousands of holiday and travel pictures in this goldmine. I bring you today some amazing images from 1980-s Yugoslavia.
Yugoslavia wasn’t a classic East-block country over the iron curtain, however marshall Tito – leader of the multinationalist country – formed a strong personality cult just like Stalin or some other leaders of the soviet satellite states. Tito announced a famous “third way” politics, whats means major differents compared to socialism or capitalism called Non-Aligned Movement. The founding fathers of the Non-Aligned Movement were Josip Broz Tito of Socialist Yugoslavia, Jawaharlal Nehru of India, Sukarno of Indonesia, Gamal Abdul Nasser of Egypt and Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana.
